Work-Based Learning Leadership Roundtable

You're invited to join us for the Connecticut Work-Based Learning Leadership Roundtable, a collaborative working session bringing together school district leaders, workforce development organizations, employers, chambers of commerce, and community partners to strengthen career-connected learning across Connecticut.

As more schools and workforce organizations expand internships, career pathways, apprenticeships, and other work-based learning opportunities, there's a growing need for stronger coordination across education, employers, and workforce partners. This roundtable is a chance to share what's working, hear how other districts are approaching work-based learning, and explore how Connecticut can build a more connected, region-wide approach to preparing students for the workforce, while helping employers build their future talent pipeline.

The discussion will include:

• The current state of work-based learning in Connecticut, what's working, where the gaps are, and what districts and employers need
• Strategies for building stronger partnerships between schools and employers
• How Starteryou is helping districts manage, track, and scale work-based learning programs
• Open roundtable discussion on internships, funding, regional collaboration, and next steps
